It's no shining thing, to get in the papers, that I expect to do; but just a patient serving God, that brings honor to the land where a man was born.

You will pray for me, I know, when I'm off on the water; and if I die--your mother knows the name--she'll go to my little darling, and tell her how her father loved her, and hopes to live with her in the kingdom of heaven.
