It is with feelings of unfeigned melancholy that we announce the demise of our excellent neighbour Giant Galligantus, after a brief illness.
The lamented giant never rallied from the nervous shock which overtook him a few days since.

Although details are still a-wanting, we understand that his head was seriously affected.

Dr John Smith was in attendance to the last.
