The purpose of the organization is to show that the common things of daily life are the chief means of beauty, romance, and adventure, to cultivate the outdoor habit, and to help girls to serve the community--the larger home--as well as the individual home.

In these ultra-modern times we must especially devote ourselves to the service of the country, and try by every means in our power to make our League of some national use.
