"Not that I ever played it much." "Did you ever play at all ?" asked Roy.
"Once or twice at grammar school.

It was too fatiguing, though." "I'll bet it was," chuckled Roy.

"I'd like to see you playing, old thing." "I did, though; played right half-back.

A fellow stuck his elbow into my face and I knocked him flat.
