I'd like to refresh your mind on one point, my son." "Yes, sir ?" said Steve without much eagerness.
"I'd like to remind you that you are not going to Brimfield Academy to play football or baseball, or to swim.

You're going there to study and learn! I don't propose to spend four hundred and fifty dollars a year, besides a whole lot for extras, to have you taught how to kick a football or make a home-hit.

And----" "A home-run, sir," corrected Steve humbly.
"Or whatever it is, then.

I expect you to buckle down when you get there and learn.
