From where they stood, looking downwards, the whole world seemed wrapped in mysterious and somber silence.

There was nothing to be seen but the grey, driving clouds.

In less than a minute their hair and eyebrows were dripping.

A slight breeze had sprung up, the cold was intense.
"Cheerful sort of place, this," Lane remarked gloomily.

"Shall we make a start ?" Hunterleys hesitated.
"Not just yet.
