I happened to turn once, perhaps to look again at the far-distant pink cliffs of Utah, or the wave-like dome of Trumbull Mountain, when I saw Moze trailing close behind me.

My yell halted the Colonel.
"Well, I'll be darned!" ejaculated he, as Moze hove in sight.
