"We believe Ruth's father is still living and in Alaska." There was a little cry of rapture from Arline as she hastily set down her cup and caught Grace's hand in hers.

"Congratulations," she trilled.
"I knew you'd find him.

I've seen it in your eye for months." "Nonsense," laughed Grace, "I don't deserve a particle of credit.
