"Now, Dick, you must really break into French." "Tomorrow morning will be time enough for that," Ryan said, in a tone of determination.

"I want to talk now, really talk; and I can't do that in French, especially after what you have just told me.

By the way, I don't see, myself, why we should make this journey through France.
