I know Herrara will be extremely glad to have you back again in command.

He has said as much, several times, when he has been in here.

He is a good man, but not strong enough for his position; and I can see that he feels that, himself, and is conscious that he is not equal to the responsibility.

I intended to recommend that a British officer should be placed in command of the regiment, before the campaign opens in the spring.
