"I don't see just how we are to get round the old man's objections myself at this moment, but something may come our way.

If we can continue to meet, I reckon we can plan something." "We can meet to-morrow evening right here." "Good.

That's all right." "And many more nights, if we are not discovered.

I'll be as nice to father as I can, and perhaps he will not dream I am such a disobedient thing, after all.

But I do hate to deceive him! I never did before in my life, and it strikes me as something awful.
