"I hope you make all the money in the world.
But you won't forget us who are down here in the country dawdling away our time in useless amusements." "Forget you!" he returned impetuously.
"Never for a minute!" and he was in such deadly earnest about it that she hastily checked further speech, although she did not know why. "Good!" she hurriedly exclaimed.
