"The boys would feel just as uncomfortable as you do now, if they were dressed up in European fashion.

Now, while we are talking, make your first attempt at sitting on your heels." Dick squatted down until his knees nearly touched his chest, and a moment later lost his balance and toppled over, amid a roar of laughter.

Next time, he balanced himself more carefully.
"That is right, Dick.

You will get accustomed to it, in time.
