As we have been unable to buy food, through the illness and death of Chipangawazi, I camp here. _2nd January, 1873._--Thursday--Wednesday was the 1st, I was two days wrong. _3rd January, 1873._--The villagers very anxious to take us to the west to Chikumbi's, but I refused to follow them, and we made our course to the Luongo.
