This is largely due to the additional support received from the Admiralty, which has increased the number of its subscriptions to fourteen, as well as to the accession of other departments of the public service and of public institutions, including The War Course College, Devonport; The War Course College, Portsmouth; The Staff College, Camberley; The University of Liverpool; The Public Libraries, Cardiff; The Public Libraries, Croydon; and, in his private capacity, the Secretary of State for War.
