Whose track are you talking about ?" "Who ?" cried Dacres.

"Why, my wife!" As he said this he struck his fist violently on the table.
"The deuce!" exclaimed Hawbury, staring at him; after which he added, thoughtfully, "by Jove!" Not much more was said.
