The haven of Hokianga figures alternately as Showkianga, Sukyanna, Jokeeangar and Chokahanga.

Almost more laughable are Towackey (Tawhaki), Wycaddie (Waikare), Crackee (Karakia), Wedder-Wedder (Wera-Wera), and Rawmatty (Raumati).
