If I have time in this letter I will give you some account of it.

In the mean time I will give you a slight account of some scenes of which I have been a happy witness in the great drama now acting in the Theatre of Europe.
"You will probably, before this reaches you, hear of the splendid _entree_ of Louis XVIII into London.

I was a spectator of this scene.

On the morning of the day, about ten o'clock, I went into Piccadilly through which the procession was to pass.

I did not find any great concourse of people at that hour except before the Pultney Hotel, where the sister of Emperor Alexander resides on a visit to this country, the Grand Duchess of Oldenburg.
