Others said that it was really not bad.

Some warmly advocated a moderate use of spirits.
Others declared that stimulants were poison.

One advised that all exercise should be taken between five and seven in the morning.

Another insisted that on no account should anyone stir out until the sun had been up for an hour, which meant that no one should go out till half past seven.

One said take exercise and excite perspiration.
