God knows--but my mother and my lover are here--and how could I stay away if there was a humble chance that I might do some little thing to aid her--to aid you, Euan?
"Why do you scowl at me?
Try me, Test me.

I am tough as an Indian youth, strong and straight and supple--and as tireless.

See--I am not wearied with the trail! I am not afraid.

I can do what you do.
