Stop her!" "Come, quiet, old girl; none of that;" said George, taking her round the waist and putting his hand before her mouth.

"Be reasonable now." She continued to look at the old man with a smile of triumph for a short time, and then said, with a queer laugh: "It's lucky you stopped me.

Oh, very lucky indeed.
